Blackhead Removalbest blackhead removal options

What works, what doesn’t work…

First let me make it completely clear…blackhead removal will only be a temporary fix until you correct the underlying cause of blackheads.

So before you really get serious about removing blackheads PLEASE checkout my report on the TRUE cause of blackheads. That report gives you the secrets you’ve been looking for lasting blackhead prevention.

Blackhead removal that doesn’t work

Blackhead removers and blackhead extractors: You’ve seen all the various blackhead removers, and blackhead extractors you’ll find on the web.
And I’m telling you, that 90% of blackhead extractors and blackhead removers will damage your skin causing more harm then good.

The rest just won’t work at all. For the most part, don’t bother with blackhead removers and blackhead extractors.

Various “vacuum” devices like IGIA: You may see various “vacuum” devices like the IGIA’s “Pore Cleanser” that’s suppose to “suck” out blackheads. This doesn’t work either…Don’t waste your money.

I still can’t believe the can sell these things. You will notice in their sales literature that they are careful not to say “blackhead removal” (although they imply it), because they know good and well that it doesn’t remove blackheads.

Various blackhead removal gels or creams: Of all the various “blackhead creams” or gels on the market I have yet to find any that are very effective for blackhead removal. And most aggravate the #@$% out of your skin because of the harsh ingredients they use.

Your best blackhead removal options for at home treatment

Well the bad news is that even the best blackhead removal methods are not that effective. I’ve come to the conclusion that the only effective blackhead treatment is INTERNAL. I explain in much more detail in the Acne Cure E-Tutorial.

Check it out.

However, here are some of the better blackhead removal options for temporary symptoms…

A mild exfoliater combined with low potency benzoyl peroxide

Mild scrubs and exfoliaters like alpha hydroxy fruit acids will clear away any dead skin cells and “expose” the blackhead.

Then the oxygen in a LOW POTENCY benzoyl peroxide will help to breakup and clear the blackhead.

The problem is most people way overuse the benzoyl peroxide, or use benzoyl peroxide that is too strong.

And they “over scrub” or over exfoliate their skin. Don’t make this mistake. Use the AHA’s every 3 days or so, and a mild scrub in general no more then once very 2 days.

Use it once every 3 days or so, not more then every other day, because it’s pretty strong.

In regards to benzoyl peroxide as not being a natural acne treatment…please understand…I’m not a big fan of benzoyl peroxide. However, if used right it’s one of the better options for short-term alleviation of blackhead symptoms.

Many people use tea tree oil combined with aloe vera gel for a natural acne treatment instead of benzoyl peroxide. And if it works for you then I’m all for it. However, in my experience with blackheads…you need the oxygen found in a low potency benzoyl peroxide to be effective.

Pore strips

You’ve seen them advertised everywhere. The pore strips that “glue” to blackheads. You pull away the strip and “presto”…no more blackheads. Well, that’s an exaggeration to say the least.

This option for blackhead removal is “fair” at best. But outside of removal via a Clinical Aesthetician it’s one of the better options without too much risk of damage to your skin.

I know, I know…they generally only remove the “top” part of the blackhead…But in all reality, outside of INTERNAL blackhead treatment, you don’t have a lot of options.

Be sure NOT to use them on any damaged skin or open acne…just on the blackheads. And DON’T overuse them. Overuse will aggravate your skin.

The only LASTING blackhead solution is INTERNAL

Like I said, there really aren’t a whole lot of effective external blackhead removal options. The problems that lead to blackheads are internal. Until you correct the internal problems that are causing your blackheads all the blackhead removal methods in the world will do no good. The blackheads will simply return.

Lasting blackhead prevention is one of the hardest things to do, however it can be done. The way to do it is to balance hormones and purify the blood.

How?

Take the Acne Cure E-Tutorial to find out how.

    hi.
i am a 12 year old girl who is probably going through hormonal change. my skin isn’t terrible but isn’t perfect. i do not think that my type of skin actually fits in with any skin type. my skin is quite pores, blackheads on my nose, white heads on my chin, the OCCASIONAL spot (not prone to spots), blothy pooress cheecks… i do not consider myself an acne girl as i know i am not. i am fine with skin care products, and mostly go for sensetive as harsher treatments irritae my skin and make more redness and rough patches. I’ve been on so many webistes and have spent quite a small fortune on skin care products. i wanted to go to the doctors and ask for a percribed cream that could clear up my skin… i mean, there must be some savious to hormonal skin change???? musn’t there???????? you probably don’t have the answer as nobody does…. but here goes…

is there an actual skin product, safe for 12 year olds, that will clear up my skin? please help and reccommend if you can.
also… i’m not really a routine girl, but if you know of something that’ll work, then i’ll be more than happy to stick to it.

thank you soooo much for reading this long thing!!!

Sorry Darcy, but there isn’t a single product to cure acne. The problem is internal. And it takes multi-steps to correct the core internal causes that lead to acne.

  3. Darcy says:

Sorry, me again, but I haven’t got acne. My skin in total is fine, i’m just a drama queen. I was asking whether there is a skin cream that would create a smoother, more perfect skin.

    You must have misunderstood me.
Can you recconmend a cream or wash face thing that works quite well?

(Being srious here and not trying to lie my way out of it, I actually DO NOT, 100% negative, do not never have or will never have acne.)

  4. admin says:

Use what works for your skin. However, understand, acne, blackheads, bad skin cannot be fixed with any topical cream. It can only be fixed by addressing the internal factors.

  5. laura says:

this doesnt even help! use products like clean and clear warming daily pore scrub to help because pore strips will just damage or tear the skin. Trust me you dont want to wait and find out. (like my friend)

  6. laura says:

oh ask you should try their routine thing. They ask you your skin type and problem it worked great for me…

  7. Linda says:

There is something similiar to pore strips Laura that helps with black and white heads. Like the post says, it is only temp solution, but it isn’t as harsh as Biore strips

  8. Carly Hill says:

Lemon juice: i had a big blackhead on my nose i used lemon juice day and night for a week and i squeezed it out…….

dont squeeze too hard it will wreck your skin

  11. Paris says:

DARCY: try using a mousturiser to make it softer or use cocoa butter

    for other people
dont use it if you have oily skin
but as i said b4 if its dried out in places its OBVIOUSLY ok to use a little bit

  12. Bella says:

Eat plenty of whole food (vegetables, fruit) and drink lots of water. Exercise. Don’t eat processed foods, especially not microwave meals and also cut down on alcohol. Dont use harsh face washes/cleansers available at supermarkets and chemists.Visit the beauty counters in dept stores. Liz Earle is particularly good and was created with acne prone skin in mind. Dont exfoliate too much (once a week will do). Dont use body cream on your face, find one specially for your facial skin, preferably one that hasn’t got oil in as this can clog up your pores, unless specifically created not to (e.g Decleor products).

Try to sit in a steam room or sauna once a week for a short time or use a home facial steam system. Dont get too close to the steam though or else it will be too harsh and leave your face red.

    Hope this helps! x

  13. Bella says:

    P.s

Oh and don’t ever pick..just leave alone!

Wrap an ice cube in tissue or a cloth and put on spot, this will really reduce the swelling.

i have 4 or 3 blackheads around my nose wat can i do to get rid of them ??? please help mee

  15. Charlotte says:

I have loads like Paris, all over my nose, cheeks, chin. I cant get rid of them! All my mates don’t have them. But I suppose it might be because of my age (13) and also my parents had them at my age too but not as many as me! I think I have oily skin but I’m not sure. I just want to get rid of them! Also I cant buy products because I’m shy like that and because I don’t get pocket money. Please help me!

  16. LilianneRose says:

    Dear admin
I have heard rave reviews of Mario Badescu’s Silver Powder for blackheads. I have been on debate over to buy it or not. If you could try it and write a review I would be an extremly happy little person.

  17. Emory says:

All of you have acne except for the one who has 3 blackheads. I have suffered with acne for over ten years. You need to see a doctor. And never take oral treatment for I am a witness to someone who has and commited suicide. If you have no blackheads no whiteheads and no pimples, do not see a doctor. But, if you have even one of these you have acne and should see a doctor. It may get better as in my case after over ten years I am not using topicals anymore just using Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser 2x a day. Hope that helps. P.S. Best make-up I’ve ever used and didn’t clog me was BareMinerals.

  18. Sally Ann says:

Just good old fashioned witch hazel helps. Many of the spot creams dry out your skin and makes your face produce more oil. Witch hazel just cleanses out and can’t harm the skin. Just check with a chemist, they’re usually really helpful
