Acne antibiotics like tetracycline are what’s known as broad spectrum antibiotics. Meaning they kills lots of stuff of different kinds. Acne antibiotics are supposed to kill the acne bacteria that are aggravating your acne. And no doubt about it…they do that very efficiently…short-term.

But here’s the interesting part…

Not only do they kill acne bacteria, but they kill virtually ALL bacteria in your system.

But isn’t that a good thing?

Nope…not at all. In fact it’s…

A VERY BAD THING!

And here’s why…

You’re body actually needs “friendly bacteria” to work. Now before you think I should check in to a funny farm, please hear me out.

In fact, you have several POUNDS of this friendly bacteria in your body right now…REALLY! (That is if you’re healthy.)

And it mostly lives in your digestive tract.

They have names like acidophilus, bifidobacteria, bacillus substilis…stuff like that. But the names don’t matter. What matters is what they do.

These friendly bacteria actually “pre-digest” food so you can absorb it. Not only that, they kill bad bacteria that may enter your system.

And if that’s not enough, they coat your digestive tract with a protective layer so parasites and bad bacteria can’t take hold or damage it.

And they eat away any “gunk” that may build up in your digestive tract from bad food or undigested food.

Needless to say they are VITAL for every level of health.

Without them you can’t really absorb nutrition very well. And bad bacteria, yeasts, and molds take over…actually overgrowing in your system.

And without them “garbage” builds up in your digestive tract just as if you stopped taking out the garbage in your house.

But, what does this have to do acne?

Well, good question…

Think of your G.I. tract as your inner skin. And in fact…the health of your outer skin is DIRECTLY associated to the health of your inner skin…your G.I. tract.

So if something comes along and messes up your G.I. tract, it also messes up your outer skin.

And acne anti-biotics mess up your G.I. tract like nothing else. They wipe out all the friendly bacteria that are protecting your G.I. tract.

After the acne antibiotic has killed the friendly bacteria…unfriendly bacteria quickly grow like crazy.

Think of the friendly bacteria as little warriors defending the fort. And the unfriendly bacteria as blood-thirsty mongrels who want to take the fort.

They are constantly battling each other. But the good news is…unless you kill the friendly bacteria off they can easily fight off the bad bacteria.

But let’s say the bad bacteria “take the fort”. They take over your G.I. tract. So friendly bacteria that do get to your G.I. tract is quickly killed by the blood-thirsty bad bacteria.

In fact, it takes LOTS of work to re-implant friendly bacteria once bad bacteria have taken over.

But what does all this have to do with acne….?

More then you could ever possibly realize!

You see these bad bacteria are very ill-mannered. They actually eat whatever they can and “poop” out toxins known as mycotoxins.

Now these mycotoxins (bad bacteria poop) weaken your liver function like nothing else.

If it’s not doing its job clearing excess hormones from your system you’re going to get acne…no way around it.

The bottom line is you need a healthy liver and digestive tract to have healthy, acne free skin.

But acne antibiotic treatment like tetracycline or minocycline wipe out friendly bacteria completely, which cause bad bacteria to take over, which (among many other bad things) causes mycotoxins to build up in your system…which weakens your liver like nothing else…which lead to acne that’s WORSE then EVER…

Whew…pretty involved process huh?

The bottom line is acne antibiotic treatment is BAD NEWS. I don’t care what your dermatologist tells you…they only making your acne worse.

Don’t do it…

Does colloidal silver cure acne? Or is it just another acne treatment scam?

Colloidal silver is heavily touted on the web as to cure acne. I’ve tested colloidal silver acne treatment thoroughly. Here are my findings…

Colloidal silver – what it is

Colloidal silver is silver that is processed usually with electricity in a specific way to make it into a colloidal state. Which simply means its “particle” sizes are so small the silver stays suspended in liquid.

Silver in this colloidal state has unique properties…

Because the particles are so small they move in and out of the walls of cells readily. This not only make is highly adsorbable by cells, but also it prevents it from building up to toxic levels. Any excess colloidal silver will simply “pass through” the cell wall and be flushed out of the system.

That’s why colloidal silver can’t poison you.

But what’s more interesting is silver in the ultra fine particle size of colloids has a very large surface area. And when bacteria, viruses, and fungus come into contact with the colloidal silver particles the silver kills them.

And what’s more interesting is it will kill the harmful organisms without harming any healthy cellular tissue.

So you can see colloidal silver is very useful for so many things. But does it cure acne?

Colloidal silver acne treatment – Does it work?

I’ve tested colloidal silver for acne treatment thoroughly. I’ve tested various brands, doses, and potencies. I tested it both internally and externally. I even bought a colloidal silver generator and made my own colloidal silver using several different methods and tried to cure acne with that.

And I can tell you from thorough direct testing that colloidal silver does NOT cure acne. And it has not proven to even help with acne symptoms.

Sorry…wish I had better news.

But why not? If colloidal silver kills bacteria why can’t it cure acne?

And no acne bacteria killers whether its synthetic acne anti-biotics or acne topical creams, or even natural bacteria killers like colloidal silver can cure acne.

They just can’t.

So use colloidal silver where it has been proven effective. But don’t waste your money if you’re trying to cure acne with colloidal silver as an acne alternative treatment. It won’t work.

The difference between adult acne and teen acne

Let me explain…

Hormonal imbalance often occurs with teens because at that time the body produces a SURGE of all kinds of hormones…which can easily overwhelm the system…leading to hormonal imbalance.

Adult acne is not so much caused by a surge of hormones, but more so it is caused by an impairment in your body’s ability to “deactivate” and expel excess and used hormones from your system.

What do I mean by that?

Well, imagine a bucket.

A bucket? What does a bucket have to do with acne? Stay with me, I’m getting there.

Anyway…imagine you’re filling the bucket with running water from a hose. The water running into the bucket would be akin to the flow of hormones your body is producing.

Now imagine a hole in the bottom of the bucket. Imagine water running out of that hole. That would be akin to your body deactivating excess and used hormones and expelling them out of your system.

The bucket would be akin to your internal system.

Well, as long as more water runs out of the bucket then runs in, your hormones stay in perfect balance.

What happens if you clog up the hole in the bucket so water (hormones) can’t get out?

The bucket eventually overflows…

Which leads to chronic hormonal imbalance. Which leads to acne…and many other hormonal related problems.

So what’s happening with adult acne is not so much a surge of water (hormones) into the bucket…but more so…

…something has damaged or weakened your body’s ability to “deactivate” and expel excess hormones from your system. In effect you’ve clogged or slowed the flow of water (hormones) out of the bucket.

The end result is the same…chronic hormonal imbalance. And when you combine that with blood and lymph toxins that build up in your system you get adult acne.

If your son or daughter is suffering from teenage acne then you have every right to be concerned. Because I’m telling you from personal experience, their acne is shunting their emotional, social, and intellectual growth in more ways then you can realize.

And probably the most significant thing you can do for them is to help them overcome this acne challenge once and for all.

I’m serious about that…I’m speaking from direct experience.

I suffered from severe acne for years. And I avoided life because of it. Where every other teenager was “in” life experiencing it…I was hiding in the corner, hoping no one would see me.

So then the next step is to help them “find” the way to cure their teenage acne.

Let me repeat that….help THEM find the way.

In the vast majority of cases it’s far better that they think it’s their idea….rather then something you’re pushing on them.

As I’m sure you already know…teenagers can be pretty darn stubborn.
